Roasted Lemon Asparagus

Tools Used: Perforated Baking Sheet, BonMat

Ingredients

  • 1-2 bunches Asparagus

  • 1 lemon

  • FRENCH PANTRY Meyer Lemon Oil

  • FRENCH PANTRY Sel Gris Salt

  • FRENCH PANTRY Pep Rally Pepper Mill (pepper of choice)

    Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F. Place Bonmat on Perforated Baking Sheet.

  • Snap wood ends off of the asparagus. Place asparagus on the Bonmat and drizzle with the Lemon Oil. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper.

  • Thinly slice the lemons and place on top of the asparagus. Roast for 10-12 minutes.


    * The easiest side that you can make. It's the perfect side dish to go along with anything you have going on the grill. The roasted asparagus reminds me of Spring. When I was younger I thought I didn't like asparagus. I think someone served it out of a can, and it was awful and mushy. I tried it again in my 40's and of course it was roasted. The taste and freshness of the roasted asparagus was very different from my past experience.
