Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders

Tools Used: Perforated Baking Sheet, FlexiFlat

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins (about 8-10 tenderloins)

  • 8-10 slices of bacon, uncooked

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • Pinch of salt

    Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place Flexiflat on the Perforated Baking Sheet.

  • Season each chicken tenderloin on both sides with salt, garlic powder and chili powder. If you like it very spicy, add more chili powder.

  • Wrap each chicken tenderloin with a slice of bacon.

  • Roll chicken wrapped in bacon in the brown sugar to lightly coat both sides.

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.


    * I love a simple recipe to get dinner on the table. These can be prepped ahead through wrapping in bacon, then before putting in the oven roll in the brown sugar. The taste of the sweet and spicy is a delicious combination. I like to serve this with mashed cauliflower and roasted broccoli.
