Egg-Shaped Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza

bon Cook Tools Used:, Large Perforated Baking Sheet, Large Bonmat, Cake Server Knife, Beechwood Rolling Pin, Stainless Mixing Bowl, Heat Resistant Spatula, Mini Offset Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 batch sugar cookie dough-store-bought or homemade

  • 12 ounces cream cheese (block style) room temperature

  • 6 Tablespoons butter, room temperature

  • 2 cups powder confectioners' sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Colorful fruits- strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, grapes

Instructions

  1. Roll out cookie dough into an egg shape onto a Large Bonmat. Trim any edges if needed with the Cake Server Knife. Place the Bonmat on a Large Perforated Baking Sheet.

  2. Bake according to package instructions until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.

  3. Using an electric mixer,(or stand mixer) beat together cream cheese and butter in the Stainless Mixing Bowl until smooth and creamy.

  4. Add sugar and continue to beat until well blended.

  5. Add vanilla and stir.

  6. Spread frosting on to the cookie, then decorate and create a design with your fruits.

* This is a fun activity to do with kids. It's very easy, looks so colorful, and everyone can get involved with cutting up the fruit. The Cake Server Knife is excellent for little hands. You could easily make individual egg shaped cookies too.
