Smashed Potatoes

bon COOK products used:
Perforated Baking Sheet, Bonmat, Round Mold (medium or large), Octagonal Bonmat, Masher, Kitchen Scissors

Ingredients:

  • Yukon Gold Potatoes (small to medium size)

  • Olive Oil

  • Kosher salt

  • Fresh Ground Pepper

  • Sour Cream

  • Fresh Chives

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place Bonmat on Perforated Baking Sheet.

  2. Wash potatoes, and prick with a fork. Place Medium or Large Round Mold on a microwave safe plate.

  3. Place potatoes in Round Mold, add 1/8 cup water, cover with Octagonal Bonmat. Microwave for 8-10 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

  4. Place potatoes on Bonmat, using a fork or potato masher, mash each potato. Drizzle potatoes with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crispy and browned.

  6. While potatoes are baking, snip the fresh chives with the Kitchen Scissors.

  7. Serve with sour cream and chives.
