Christmas Candy Plate

Creating a fun tray for Christmas with hard candies is like magic. You can be as creative as you like, and this is a fun and simple activity with kids of all ages. Create a plate to use as a tray for gifting cookies, use it as a centerpiece, sit a candle on top, the possibilities are endless. The hardest part is unwrapping the candy!


Tools Used: Perforated Baking Sheet, Mold or Tray of your choice


Ingredients

  • Any hard candies, such as Starlight Mints, Cinnamon Disks, Jolly Ranchers, Butterscotch Disks

  • Directions

  • Place desired Mold or Tray on the Perforated baking sheet. Arrange candies in mold, and bake at 350F for 7-8 minutes.

*To make a Christmas ornament, use the Mini Round Mold. Remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Stick a straw in the candy to create a hole (while it is still pliable), let cool completely and remove from the mold. Use ribbon to hang the ornament.
