Christmas Candy Plate
Creating a fun tray for Christmas with hard candies is like magic. You can be as creative as you like, and this is a fun and simple activity with kids of all ages. Create a plate to use as a tray for gifting cookies, use it as a centerpiece, sit a candle on top, the possibilities are endless. The hardest part is unwrapping the candy!
Tools Used: Perforated Baking Sheet, Mold or Tray of your choice
Ingredients
Any hard candies, such as Starlight Mints, Cinnamon Disks, Jolly Ranchers, Butterscotch Disks
Directions
Place desired Mold or Tray on the Perforated baking sheet. Arrange candies in mold, and bake at 350F for 7-8 minutes.
*To make a Christmas ornament, use the Mini Round Mold. Remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Stick a straw in the candy to create a hole (while it is still pliable), let cool completely and remove from the mold. Use ribbon to hang the ornament.
