Microwave Caramels

The easiest caramels ever! The recipe doesn't require stirring over the stove top, and of course the clean up is a breeze. I love the combination of the sweet and salty too.

Tools Used: Square Flexipat, Heat Resistant Spatula, Large Round Mold, Cake Server Knife, Kitchen Scissors, French Pantry Natural Salt Flakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 cup White Sugar

  • 1/2 cusp Karo Syrup

  • 1/4 cup Butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

    Directions

  • Mix all ingredients in the Large Round Mold. Microwave on High for 6 minutes, stirring every 90 seconds.

  • Pour into square Flexipat Mold and top with coarse Sea Salt if desired. Cool before inverting onto the Roul'Pat or bonmat to cut with the Cake Server Knife or the Kitchen Scissors.
