Restaurant Style Baked Potatoes

bonCook tools used: Perforated Baking Sheet, Bonmat, FRENCH PANTRY EVOO, FRENCH PANTRY Sel Gris Salt, Santoku Knife

Ingredients

  • 2 large Russet potatoes

  • FRENCH PANTRY EVOO

  • FRENCH PANTRY Sel Gris Salt or Kosher Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F,

  2. Place a Bonmat on a Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.  Scrub potatoes clean and poke each potato a few times with a fork.  

  3. Pour some EVOO in your hand and rub on each potato.  Sprinkle with salt and place on the Bonmat.  

  4. Bake for one hour or until fork tender.  

  5. Let cook for a few minutes and split open with a knife.

  6. Top with your favorite toppings.   

bonTip: It's the season for grilling and these baked potatoes are the perfect side. They are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.  Baking them on the Bonmat and preparing them with the EVOO and salt makes these restaurant quality.  Top with butter, sour cream, and chives, or make it a meal with a loaded baked potato.
