Crockpot Honey Pork and Apples

Nothing sounds and smells like Fall better than apples and pork. The combination is delicious and so easy, plus your house will smell amazing when you arrive home after a long day.  The ease of cleaning up the crockpot is made easier using the Large Round Mold as a liner.  How cool is that?  Add roasted or steamed veggies for a complete meal.   


bonCook tools used: Large Round Mold, FRENCH PANTRY Lavender Honey

Ingredients 

  • 2-1 lb each pork tenderloin

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, sliced

  • 1/2 cup FRENCH PANTRY Lavender Honey

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the Large Round Mold inside a crockpot.  

  2. Slice slits in the pork tenderloin.  

  3. Place 1-2 apple slices per slit.  Place 3/4 remaining apple slices in the bottom of the crockpot that is lined with the mold. 

  4. Drizzle 1/2 of the honey over the apple slices.  

  5. Place the pork on top of the apple slices.  Sprinkle cinnamon over everything. 

  6. Place remaining apple slices on top and drizzle the remaining honey over everything.  

  7. Place the lid on and cook on low for 4-6 hours.  

  8. Carefully lift the mold from the crockpot.  Remove the pork from the Mold, slice the pork and serve with apples on top.
