Cheeseburger Sliders

Make these cheeseburger sliders when you need to feed a crowd.  These are perfect for all of your Fall gatherings.  Make a fun cheeseburger board with all of the fun toppings you can think of.  I have made these for a class and they were a hit.  We had a few left and they were just as good heated up the next day.

bonCook tools used: Perforated Baking Sheet, Rectangular Mold, Round Mold, Octagonal Bonmat, Heat Resistant Spatula, Mini Whisk, FRENCH PANTRY Lavender Honey, FRENCH PANTRY Herbs de Provence Mustard, Blender Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of 12-count slider buns (I like the brioche buns)

  • 1 pound of lean ground beef

  • 3 tablespoons ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard

  • 1/4 cup house sauce (recipe below)

  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup freshly grated white sharp cheddar cheese

  • Sprinkle of sesame seeds

  • FRENCH PANTRY EVOO

    House Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons FRENCH PANTRY Herbs de Provence Mustard (or Dijon)

  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

  • 1 tablespoon FRENCH PANTRY Lavender Honey

  • 1 tablespoon of your favorite barbeque sauce

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.  Place the Rectangular Flexipat or the Forteez Rectangular Mold.

Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom of the rolls in the Rectangular Mold.

Place the ground beef in the Medium Round Mold.  Break up and cover with the Octagonal Bonmat. Place in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes.  Carefully uncover and break up the ground beef once again.  Return to the microwave and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until completely cooked through.  Carefully remove the Octagonal Bonmat and then fold the mold in half and drain the liquid. Stir in the ketchup and mustard until combined.

Place the sliced sharp cheddar on the bottom layer of the slider buns.  Top that with the ground beef mixture.  Drizzle on the house sauce.  Sprinkle with the shredded cheddar.

Top with the slider buns.  Brush with a touch of olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake the sliders for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melty.

Serve immediately with your favorite burger toppings and house sauce.
