Chai Tea Cider

This has all the flavors of Fall and your kitchen will smell amazing!

I came across this wonderful recipe from a host.  The cooking class was in the Fall and she put this together an hour before the class started.  It was delicious and so easy.

I love to have apple cider on hand throughout the winter months.  We like to purchase apple cider from our favorite orchard and then freeze a few gallons (make sure to pour out a little cider so that it can expand in the freezer).  It's nice to have it on hand to serve around the holidays and  to have it when it's cold outside.  Watch your holiday movies curled up a cozy blanket or a good book, and a hot mug of this chai tea cider.

bonCook tools used: Crockpot

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider

  • 2 cups chai concentrate (such as Tazo Classic Latte Chai)

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 4-5 cloves

Instructions

Place all the ingredients into a crockpot.  Set the crockpot on the high setting.  Heat until nice and hot and then turn to the warm setting.

Ladle into mugs.  Top with whipped cream and cinnamon powder if you wish.
