Garlic Knots

Tools Used: FRENCH PANTRY Herb Infused Pizza Dough Mix, Stainless Mixing Bowl, Roul'Pat, Mini Round Mold, Silicone, Pastry Brush, Mini Herb Chopper

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 package FRENCH PANTRY Herb Infused Pizza Dough Mix

Garlic Butter

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/4 cup FRENCH PANTRY EVOO (olive oil)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced.

  • 1/2 teaspoon FRENCH PANTRY Sel Gris Salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon FRENCH PANTRY Pepper (choice from Pep Rally)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced.

Directions

  • Place the Large Bonmat on a Large Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.

  • Prepare the pizza dough mix as directed on the package. Divide the dough into 2 equal balls. Roll one half into a rectangle shape on the Roul'Pat and cut into 8-10 equal portions.

  • Shape into an 8-inch snake and carefully tie each rolled-out piece into a knot. Place the knots on the Bonmat.

  • In the Mini Round Mold, add the butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Cover with the Octagonal Bonmat and microwave until melted. Stir in the parsley.

  • Brush each knot with the butter mixture and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden.

  • Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese or serve with your favorite marinara sauce.

* These Garlic Knots are fun to make, and kids can join in the fun as well.  If you haven't tried our herb infused pizza dough, it's time to give it a try.  You can use it to make individual pizzas, one large pizza, two medium pizzas, or a Pizza Bowl baked on the back of a Round Flexipan Molds.  This would be a fun addition to add for a Super Bowl party too.
