Brie and Jam Tartlets
Tools Used: Flexipan Mini or Medium Tartlet Tray, Perforated Baking Sheet, Roul'pat, Beechwood Rolling Pin, Round Dough Cutters, Shaper
Ingredients
1 package refrigerated pie dough or homemade recipe
4 ounces Brie cheese
1/2 cup jam of choice
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 F degrees. Place the Mini or Medium Tartlet Tray on a Perforated Baking Sheet.
Roll dough onto Roul'pat and cut shapes using the Round Dough Cutters.
Place Shapes over wells and push down evenly with the Shaper.
Place a small piece of brie into each well and top with a dollop of jam.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until bubbly.
* Tartlets are fun and easy to make. You can use your favorite jam. I like apricot jam with brie.
** Bon Tip- Peeling the brie cheese is not necessary. The outer layer is a thin layer of wax that protects the cheese from drying out and also prevents mold growth.
