Gather In Style
I cannot believe September is here already! I’m still soaking up every bit of summer. Our garden is still producing tomatoes, onions, and lima beans. On my list to do is harvest the basil, sage, parsley, and basil so I will have that through the winter.
bon COOK has a NEW PRODUCT guide. This is so helpful. There is so much information on all of the FORTEEZ line, plus the FRENCH PANTRY items. Make sure to take a look!

Homemade Applesauce
This is my favorite way to make fresh applesauce that requires no time at all. It is a quick side to a Fall meal, and it's also perfect to make for baby food. I do not add any sugar, as the apples have natural sugar.
Apple Cider Mimosa
Here is a simple Fall cocktail to make for all the festivities, and it only takes a few ingredients. Make it a caramel apple mimosa by drizzling caramel sauce into the glass before pouring in the champagne and cider or add a little caramel-flavored vodka before adding the bubbly.
Maple Cinnamon Butternut Squash
It’s not fall without butternut squash! Check out our favorite way to serve sweet Butternut Squash!
Individual Lasagnas
Who doesn't like individual portions and meal prep? This lasagna recipe fits the bill. You can eat what you have made and then freeze the extras for a fast meal later.
To make this recipe even easier you could add your favorite jarred pasta sauce.
Apple Cinnamon Monkey Bread
This recipe is perfect for the holidays. It's always a favorite at Brunch Cooking Classes. I like to use Granny Smith Apples, and the Eco Chop makes it a breeze to chop the apples. You can easily make this the night before and bake, and warm it the next morning.
Snicker Doodle (copycat CRUMBL)
If you love CRUMBL cookies then you need to make these!
Creamed Corn with Bacon and Leeks
Hopefully you have some fresh corn to make this recipe. It doesn't take long and it's a delicious side that pairs well with grilled chicken. Do not be intimidated if you have never used a leek. I am including the how to's to walk you through.
Salted Brown Butter Rice Krispy Treats
If you make these, you might want to hide these from the kids. They are that good! If you have never browned butter before it's not hard, and it adds so much flavor and changes everything.
Marinated Tomato BLT's
This is another way to enjoy all of the tomatoes from the garden. There is nothing better than a BLT with garden tomatoes. Make sure to toast the bread as this will support everything. This is a summer dream dinner!
July Dessert Board
This is a fun way to take a dessert to a gathering or when you are hosting. The ingredients can be anything you would like. It can be part store bought and part homemade. The possibilities are endless.
Blueberry Galette (Rustic Tart)
Perfect when you need a quick dessert and a beautiful presentation, French galettes are so easy to make! And you can adapt this recipe to any of your favorite summer fruits.
Cucumbers & Onions
I grew up with my mother making cucumbers and onions every summer. Making these brings back such good memories. We would have these at summer gatherings, cookouts, and they were always in the refrigerator all summer.
Basil Vinaigrette
This is delicious! If you have basil growing this summer this is a must to make. It’s also excellent mixed in with pasta and a sprinkle of parmesan.
Strawberry Lime Mocktail Margarita
This is so refreshing and full of all the summer flavors. Sit back and relax and have a refreshing drink this summer.
Mom’s Baked Beans
These were always a summer staple in the summer for picnics and the house smelled so good when they were cooking. We always took a canoe trip with another family on July 4th every year, and my mom always made fried chicken and baked beans.
Deviled Eggs
There are so many ways to make deviled eggs. I am including step by step photos to be helpful. Deviled eggs are a staple for our family during the summer months and really all year long at family gatherings!
Dreamy Orange Pie
This is an easy dessert that takes no time to make, and I will be making this all summer! It reminds me of a creamsicle ice cream. I love the combination of the ice cream and sherbet together. The Mandarin Spice Jam or the orange marmalade adds flavor and also helps to hold the crumbs together in the crust of this refreshing pie.
Spring Veggies Snack Tray
This is so fun to make and the colors are beautiful. Customize your own creation with your favorite veggies and cheese. This is perfect to serve at a shower or to take to a gathering.
